For Dentistry:

Izmir Medical Esthetic Travel has a partnership with several dental clinics in Izmir (Turkey). On this page you will find the warranty conditions. You conclude the agreement for the entire process – from intake to treatment – directly with the dental clinics. This way you are assured of immediately applicable warranty conditions. After your treatment you will receive a guarantee certificate from the dental clinic. In the event of a guarantee, we will also reimburse your flight ticket up to a maximum of €100. Necessary small aftercare treatments in the Netherlands or Belgium are also possible. Izmir Medical Aesthetic Travelhasfor this a collaboration with a dental clinic in Belgium-Ghent, Brussels and the Netherlands-Rotterdam, Amsterdam. If you let us take care of your trip and accommodation, you will enter into an agreement with Izmir for this Medical Esthetic Travel. Also read our disclaimer and terms and conditions.

Warranty conditions dental clinics

The Dental Clinic takes its responsibility and is liable for the dental work it performs. Our customers can feel safe in our clinics because we offer a guarantee structure that ensures a relaxed treatment.

  1. Quality raw materials are used in our clinicwhich come only from a reliable source. These materials meet the strictest requirements of European quality standards and are qualified by ISO. These materials ensure that the human body is maximally protected during dental procedures.

  2. All dentists working at our dental clinics continue to develop their expertise by participating in vocational training and professional dental conferences several times each year. This enables them to provide up-to-date solutions when drawing up a treatment plan.

Professional Dental Warranty

Our selected dental clinics work exclusively with the best dental laboratories belonging to the professional experts. These laboratories guarantee that your prosthesis is manufactured from high-quality raw materials and using the latest technology, including CAD/CAM. In addition, these prostheses meet the highest aesthetic standards.

Warranty Prostheses. Our dental clinics offer a much longer warranty on dental procedures performed in our clinic than stipulated by law. In this way we assure you that you can undergo a dental procedure in our clinic without running any risk.


Warranty terms:

  • Removable dentures: 1 year warranty

  • Crown and bridge work: 5 year warranty

  • Veneers: 5 year warranty

  • Abutment: 2 years warranty

  • Fixed dentures: 2 year warranty

  • Nobel Biocare Active implant (Made in Sweden): 10 year warranty

  • Alpha Bio implant: 10 year warranty

  • Straumann implant: lifetime warranty

When placing implants, the guarantee means that if an implant falls out or becomes detached, for example, a new one will be inserted free of charge. However, this rarely happens, because the success rate of implants inserted in our clinic is at least 99%.

When you complete the dental treatment, you will receive a guarantee certificate that ensures that you can claim under the guarantee. After placing an implant, we offer you an implant passport. This describes the type, size and location of the implant. With the help of this document, all authorized dentists around the world can identify and treat your implants.

Conditions for warranty:

  • Strictly follow your dentist's instructions regarding oral hygiene.

  • Practice good oral hygiene. This means brushing your teeth twice a day and flossing well.

  • Have your teeth checked by your dentist at least once a year.

  • Visit a dental hygienist at least once a year.

  • Follow the advice and guidelines of the dentist, dental hygienist or prevention assistant.

  • Have treatments suggested by your dentist performed within 30 days.

  • You cannot claim under warranty if you still have an outstanding bill at our dental clinics.

Place for warranty:

All interventions related to the guarantee are carried out exclusively in the dental clinics in collaboration and determined by Izmir Medical Esthetic Travel.
Our dental clinics in Izmir are not liable for paying for warranty treatments performed in other dental practices.

Things that are not covered by the warranty:

  • Damage due to psychological habits, for example sleep bruxism (excessive jaw clenching) or teeth grinding.
    Damage resulting from abnormal use of the prostheses. eg
    example when a prosthesis falls on the floor or is damaged in an accident.

  • Interventions performed by persons outside the clinic, who are not authorized to make a diagnosis, and who are not authorized to perform proposed interventions. These are dentists and dental technicians who do not work for our dental clinics or are not in collaboration with Izmir Medical Esthetic Travel.

  • In case there is a concomitant disease that affects the position of the teeth.

  • In case of damage caused by intent.

  • If you have not properly maintained your teeth.

  • The teeth are damaged as a result of an accident or improper use

  • When the advice of the treating dentist is not followed (for example with regard to wearing, maintaining and storing prostheses).

  • The gum tissue naturally recedes and/or decreases

  • There is an increase or decrease in the patient's normal weight of more than 20%

  • Health factors influence the condition of the teeth, such as diabetes, epilepsy, osteoporosis (bone loss), and side effects of chemotherapy or radiation.

  • There is an emergency repair.

  • When costs of treatments have not been paid or have not been paid in full to our dental clinics or Izmir Medical Esthetic Travel.

In consultation with and after approval of Izmir Medical Esthetic Travelminor repairs can also be carried out by cooperating clinics in Belgium and the Netherlands. The costs incurred for this can be (partly) claimed afterwards. This is only possible after approval from Izmir Medical Esthetic Travel.

Major adjustments will be provided in the clinic of your choice in Turkey.

Warranty conditionsclinics

  2. All physicians working at our clinics continue to develop their expertise by participating in vocational training and professional physician conferences several times each year. This enables them to provide up-to-date solutions when drawing up a treatment plan.

  3. Our rigorously selected hospitals in Izmir Turkey in our collaboration has been awarded the A+ classification by the Turkish Ministry of Health and is accredited by JCI, which stands for gold standards in hygiene and quality.

Conditions for warranty:

  • Strictly follow your doctors' instructions regarding your proper aftercare.

  • Maintain good hygiene. 

  • Follow the advice and guidelines of the doctor or prevention assistant.

  • You cannot claim under warranty if you still have an outstanding bill at our clinics.

For Travel:

If something is not right in the Travel department, Izmir Medical Esthetic Travel will do everything it can to fix it. There are always solutions.

Cancellations:

For cancellations less than 4 weeks from the agreed booking dates, 25% of the sometimes in the travel department will be charged.

Beecancellations that are less than 4 weeks from the agreedbookings datums word is charged 20% of the sometimes in the Surgery Department.

In case of a cancellation of less than 48 hours, the full amount will be charged.

If your booked stay has a right to remove you in the event of problems, the costs for another stay are at your expense.

If you arrive too late for a day trip or get out, the costs incurred will be charged to you.
